Controversial stuff from the Netherlands coach
Louis van Gaal off the top rope everyone. In case you missed hearing from the ex-Barcelona manager, he’s here to save the day with some wild comments.
The Dutchman talked about how the blame is shared when things go poorly at Barcelona. Van Gaal seems to be convinced that when things are going poorly at the club, “foreigners” are blamed for the poor performances.
Van Gaal was asked about the public criticism of Ronald Koeman in a press conference for the Dutch national team.
“History is repeating itself,” he said.
“These are typical things that happen at Barcelona.
“When things go well and you make important contributions, like Frenkie de Jong has done these past couple of years, then there’s nothing to worry about.
“But, when things go badly, people at Barcelona always look at the foreigners. In this case, that’s the coach.
“I’d advise him to not pay much attention to it all.”

I just gotta say. I think Luis Enrique, Ernesto Valverde, and Quique Setien would all disagree with that sentiment.
