The forward is expected to make his comeback soon
Ousmane Dembele was back in group training with Barcelona on Monday as he nears a return to first-team action.
The French forward has missed the start of the season after undergoing surgery over the summer after picking up an injury at Euro 2020.
It’s thought Dembele will be given the medical green light in the coming days and will be in the squad either for Wednesday’s game at Rayo or the visit of Alaves on Saturday.
The forward looks to be in pretty good shape if this clip from Barcelona is anything to go by:

Dembele’s return is a bit of good news for Barca who will be without Frenkie de Jong against Rayo, while Pedri has also reportedly suffered a setback in his recovery from a thigh injury.
Meanwhile, there’s still uncertainty over Dembele’s future at Barcelona with the 24-year-old out of contract in the summer and yet to renew his contract.
The latest update on the saga comes from ESPN who reckon Barca are pressing Dembele for a decision when it comes to his renewal. The report reckons Dembele is happy at Barcelona but at the moment the club thinks there’s only a 50% chance he will continue.
