The midfielder will miss the trip to Rayo Vallecano
Barcelona confirmed on Monday that Frenkie de Jong is out of action with a hamstring injury picked up against Real Madrid on Sunday.
There’s no mention of how long De Jong will be sidelined for but it seems like he’ll miss at least two games, starting with Wednesday’s trip to Rayo Vallecano.
It’s been reported that De Jong actually had the issue before Sunday’s match but ended up playing anyway and simply made the problem worse.

Diario AS are reporting Barcelona are hopeful De Jong could be back for the trip to Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on November 2. Barca then take on Celta Vigo four days later before the final international break of 2021.
It will be interesting to see how Koeman lines his team up without De Jong against Rayo Vallecano, particularly as Pedri may not be back either. Sergi Roberto could come into the team but Nico Gonzalez and Riqui Puig will be hoping for minutes.
