The group is won, and the team looks very good.

Barcelona remain perfect in the Champions League group stage and are the winners of Group G (unofficially) thanks to an easy 3-0 win away to Ferencváros in Budapest. Barça dominated from start to finish, scored good goals and cruised to three points and continue to play extremely well in Europe.

FIRST HALF

There was no drama about the first half. Barça dominated, pressed high and gave the home team no chance to breathe, and the first 35 minutes were just excellent to watch from the Blaugrana. The ball moved quick from side to side, the wingers were dangerous in one-on-one situations, and Antoine Griezmann and Martin Braithwaite wreaked havoc down the middle.

The goals were good, too: the first came on a good cross by Jordi Alba and a gorgeous backheel finish by Griezmann, the second was a great move and cross by Ousmane Dembélé and an easy finish from Braithwaite, and the third came after Braithwaite used his pace to win a penalty in the box and Dembélé buried it.

Ferencváros tried to attack in the final minutes but showed no real creative spark to truly bring danger to the Barça defense, and at halftime the game was over and Barça could easily make this a blowout in the second half.

SECOND HALF

The second half was pretty much uneventful, with Ferencváros unable to attack with any consistency while Barça kept possession and didn’t really press too much, with Ronald Koeman making early substitutions to rest some older legs and let the kids play.

There were still a couple of chances for Barça thanks to Dembélé’s energy and kill, and the Frenchman was involved in all the big moments from the Blaugrana who could have easily made it 4-0 or 5-0 if not for bad finishing and poor decision-making inside the box.

The final whistle came to end an easy and dominant night for Barça, who thanks to goal differential cannot be caught by Juventus and are the winners of Group G. A third excellent performance in a row, another clean sheet and a team slowly starting to look really good.
