An update from the center-back
Gerard Pique interviews are some of my favorite player interviews ever. The veteran defender is usually purely candid in his answers and ends up chatting about interesting topics.
This interview didn’t feature anything spicy, but still some interesting bits from the defender. He was first asked about the Champions League matchup against PSG.
“The tie against PSG will be very hard. I know Neymar well but a lot can happen before the game is played in two months. The important thing is that it will be a great spectacle for the fans.”
The defender also said he was feeling good as he recovers from a knee injury but that he must “wait to see if the knee is stable in the coming months.”
Pique also commented on the young Barca defenders Oscar Mingueza and Ronald Araujo who both played against Real Sociedad in midweek and looked great.
“They both have a great future ahead of them.”
