Barcelona have had a rollercoaster year on and off the pitch but still have six players on the shortlist for FIFA’s FIFPro World XI of 2020.

Players from all around the world are invited to vote for the world’s best players in four positions, goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward, and those with the most votes secure a place in the FIFPro World XI to be announced on December 17.
FIFA have shortlisted the top 55 names so far with European champions Bayern Munich unsurprisingly dominating the list with 11 players nominated.
Barcelona also have six players in contention.

Jordi Alba
Sergio Busquets
Frenkie de Jong
Philippe Coutinho
Lionel Messi
The final XI will consist of a goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards. The final place in the team goes to the player with the next highest amount of votes.
