Cádiz 2-1 Barça: No joy in Andalusia - FC Barcelona
Barça did everything and more to avoid it, but have tumbled to a 2-1 defeat in Andalusia that leaves them 12 points adrift of the top of the table. Cádiz took an early lead, but no sooner had the Catalans deservedly managed to get back on level terms, a freak goal at the other end meant they were playing catch-up again.

Barcelona's loss to Cadiz 'a huge step back' - Ronald Koeman - ESPN
"It's a huge step back in terms of winning La Liga," Koeman lamented in his postmatch news conference. "It's disappointing but we must accept it, even though being 12 points back from a strong team like Atletico is a lot. The result today is difficult to explain. We concede the first goal and weren't good in attack, with too many players in the middle of the pitch."

Veteran Spanish international Busquets has warned his teammates they need to quickly improve if they want to get back into the title race in the coming months.
