The Brazilian joined Juventus in the summer
Arthur has been talking about his departure from Barcelona to Juventus in the summer and how his time at the Camp Nou ended.
The Brazilian was linked with a Camp Nou exit back in April but initially made it clear he did not want to leave and was keen to stay at the club.
However, the midfielder was eventually persuaded to join Juventus in a deal that saw Miralem Pjanic move the other way.
Arthur was frozen out at Barca towards the end of the 2019-20 season and then went AWOL without permission. He now admits it was not the best way to end his story with Barcelona.
“There was more noise than I would have liked. Once I knew I was going to leave, I wanted to do things right. Barcelona had given me a lot. It was the club that opened the doors of Europe to me, a dream I had since I was a child. A club with a great history and a great history of Brazilian footballers.
“It’s hard to talk. I have my version, my story and I would have liked some things to have been different, but equally for them everything was as it should be. And they will surely believe that they should have done things the way they did. But it’s over now. Now I have come to a great club to meet serious people in the direction that delivers me many things.

The 24-year-old was back at the Camp Nou in midweek to help Juve to Champions League victory over his former club. Arthur has featured in all the Bianconeri’s UCL matches but only six of 10 in Serie A.
