It's done. Manchester City have a new goalkeeper, and Barça need a new one
Now it's almost official: Manchester City have a new goalkeeper.
Barcelona shot-stopper Claudio Bravo played on Saturday his last match for the club, a 6-2 victory over Real Betis in the La Liga opening match for the Catalan giants. As soon as the match was over, Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernández spoke to the press, and he was asked about the Chilean keeper.
His response will make Man City fans happy:

Now that Bravo is almost gone, the Blaugrana will look for a new keeper, says Robert:

According to multiple reports, that goalkeeper will be Ajax and Dutch national team starter Jasper Cillessen, who is set to join Barça on a €14 million deal. After that deal is completed, Bravo will be free to move to Manchester and complete his City transfer. Bravo was requested by Pep Guardiola, who wants a keeper good with the ball on his feet, something both City keepers Joe Hart and Willy Caballero are not.
Bravo's deal with City is expected to be announced in the next few days.
