Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Uruguayan defender Emiliano Velazquez, who will be loaned to Getafe. Marca reports that the 20-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the champions, having started his career at Danubio. He has been sent for a year to Getafe and is a youth international who has captained the Uruguay Under-20s team.
