The session was reportedly cut short after just 23 minutes
Gerard Pique has been whistled by supporters as he turned out for an open training session with the Spain national team on Monday.
The defender joined up with Spain following yesterday’s 3-0 win over Las Palmas that was played behind closed doors amid huge political unrest in the city.
Speaking after the match, a clearly emotional Pique, spoke of his pride for his city and said he was prepared to step down from the national team if required.
"I think I can continue," he said.
"But if the board really thinks I'm a problem, I will take a step back and leave the national team before 2018.
"There are many people in Spain who disagree with what happened today and believe in democracy."

David Cartlidge at beinSPORTS also claimed objects were thrown at Pique and some supporters said they had only turned out so they could abuse the Barca defender.
TV reporters asking people why they are there. Admitted they’d only come to abuse Piqué, not watch the team train.

However, there are also reports that there was support for Pique within the crowd, despite the fairly hostile atmosphere.
