Real Madrid Castilla defender Derik Osede has told BBC Sport he wants to represent Nigeria at international level. Derik, 22, has played for Spain's youth sides, most recently recording two caps for their under-21 team. However, the centre-back, who is contracted to Real's B side, wishes to be called up by Nigeria's senior side, as his father is Nigerian.

Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta set to join Sevilla | Sky Sports
Spanish side Sevilla have claimed they are on the verge of signing Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta as he gets set to leave Stamford Bridge. The 24-year-old is out of contract this summer after moving to London in 2007 from French club RC Lens and spent last season on loan to La Liga side Rayo Vallecano.

Inter have reportedly moved closer to agreeing a deal with Atletico Madrid for Brazil international Miranda. The Italian giants have been heavily linked with the 30-year-old and La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that a difference of about €4m is currently separating the two clubs. The newspaper believes the Nerazzurri have tabled a bid of around €12m but that Atleti are demanding €16m for the defender.

Southampton have made Juanmi their first signing of the summer after securing the Spanish forward on a four-year contract. The 22-year-old arrives at St Mary's from Primera Division club Malaga, for whom he scored eight league goals last season. The Saints confirmed the upcoming transfer of the player who won the Under-19 European Championship with Spain in both 2011 and 2012.

New York City FC have signed longtime Athletic Bilbao defender Andoni Iraola on a free transfer. Iraola, 32, has made over 500 appearances for Athletic, scoring 38 goals in 12 seasons. He will be available for NYCFC when the secondary transfer window opens on July 8.
