You either die a Hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the Villian!!!

If this quote is applicable to the Dark Knight, it surely applies to everything!!!

Two weeks of international football certainly takes a lot more toll on us than the players. The players love to play football! What about us? What should we do when our team is torn apart and sent to different parts of the world? Well, what I did was decide that if my superhero is on a break, I will settle for the nearest one - Batman. And that is what leads me to this pretty cool analogy.

Just like Gotham city needed Batman to rescue them from its evils, we too depend on our "Dark Knight" to do the same for us. Gotham's streets are safer with Batman around; similarly we look forward to watching Barcelona bring us joy, both on and off the pitch. But just how Bruce Wayne was impelled by the people of Gotham to reveal his identity in the time of crisis, we too are doing the same.

The Pep Era was something extraordinary. No manager, not even Pep himself can relive those moments. No team can endlessly be the best team in the world. The only difference was that "The Barcelona Era" lasted much longer than a normal cycle. We played beautiful football, hypnotizing passes, cutting edge through balls and predator Golazos; we did it all!!!! And now we are behaving like the extremely obsessed ex, who still believes that the relationship will survive without changing anything. All the delusions lead only to one thing, a broken heart and a failed relation.

I will not go into statistics, wins, losses and trophies (yes, we won a few). When we lost by *some score* to the mighty Bayern, people blamed the "useless possession". Juxtapose to that, when we won 0 - 4 away to the tough Rayo, Cules still weren't happy with the "useful but less possession". Martino did what no other coach could do; build from the roots of tactics. He broke the style and built an entire new one which was very successful (against the big guns too; apart from the other Madrid team though, who were beating people left, right and centre. And just to mention, the toughest rival Atletico faced last season were our VERY OWN Barcelona). Just because he was an "outsider" his work went unappreciated. The way Argentina played against Portugal surely must have made many wonder - "Why can't we play like this? Let's sack Lucho and buy their coach".

Next! In came our very own Lucho. He also achieved something extraordinary - CLEAN SHEETS. The Cule worlds started rejoicing but still were not convinced. "Will this last in front of the biggies? If we do not concede how do we build our comeback spirit? However, a loss to Almeria would have been more satisfying to people, just to tweet "I told you so". #CuleConfusion

My point is simple, people who cry about buying players who do not fit "our style", should understand that we are spending big bucks on a certain players BECAUSE they have something different *cough*Alexis*cough*. Also, to get rid of the "useless" possession, there needs to be experimenting which could lead to an evolution. This experimenting will fail at times, and it is in such times we need to understand the process of change.

The night is the darkest just before dawn, and I promise you, dawn is coming!!! When Pep started, opponents did not park the bus; they came at us directly, and this in turn made us stronger. Similarly, opponents have slowly stopped fearing us; they have started being bold which is nothing less than an advantage for us. I ask all Cules to enjoy this moment. A moment where we could see the building of a great team. Visca Barca!!!!
