Barça players featured prominently in Spain’s 3-0 win over Belarus in Huelva. The club supplied four of the starting eleven and two of the goalscorers, Sergio Busquets and Pedro Rodríguez. Piqué and Jordi Alba were also named by Del Bosque and Bartra was on the bench in a game in which Spain needed to get their campaign back on track after the disappointing defeat to Slovakia.

Under-fire Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is using the current international break to do a bit of scouting. He was spotted at Barcelona B’s game against Numancia yesterday evening. The likely subject of the scouting mission is Barca midfielder Sergi Samper, who is a long-term Spurs target.
