Barcelona is going through a tough time on the pitch, so the club's most important figure is asking for some help from outside.
President Josep Maria Bartomeu sent out a message to the Blaugrana fan base following the team's Champions League quarterfinal exit at the hands of Atlético Madrid, the third loss in the last five games for the Catalan giants. The form is clearly dropping rapidly, and it could lead to a disaster for Barça in the remaining two competitions, La Liga and the Copa del Rey Final.
Bartomeu asked the fans to show their support as the team attempts to finish the season with a double, starting on Sunday's difficult league match against Valencia:
"We still have a league to win. I hope to see all of you on Sunday at Camp Nou and welcome our players with a strong ovation, and do everything to show your maximum support in the remaining matches so we can win the league and the Cup.
"We in the board are calm and confident. We understand we have enjoyed wonderful times in the last several years, but we also know this is a sport and you can't always win. But we need your support."

Bartomeu hopes to see a packed Camp Nou on Sunday as the Blaugrana look to remain leaders of La Liga and build some momentum ahead of the Cup Final against Sevilla. Like the president or not, he is right. Fans might be disappointed at the team, but they should never stop supporting it. Especially now.
