Luis Enrique and Barcelona keep reaching important milestones together.
Following the 5-2 victory over Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, the Blaugrana reached the 200-goal mark under the command of coach Enrique. The Catalan giants dominated the world of football last season and scored a whopping 175 goals on their way to a Treble, and while this season hasn't been as phenomenal, the Blaugranes have already bagged 26 scores, bringing their total to 201 with the Asturian manager in official matches only.
Obviously, the 'MSN' trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar Jr., who got 122 goals in their first season alone, is the leading group of players in the scoring chart. This is the full table of goalscorers under Lucho:
1. Messi: 64 goals
2. Neymar: 47 goals
3. Suárez: 32 goals
4. Pedro: 12 goals
5. Rakitic: 8 goals
6. Piqué: 7 goals
7. Sandro: 4 goals
8. Iniesta, Mathieu, Xavi, Rafinha, Alba, Sergi Roberto, OWN GOALS: 3 goals each
9. Adriano, Bartra: 2 goals each
10. Munir, Adama, Busquets, Vermaelen: 1 goal each
The only players who haven't scored for Luis Enrique since the start of last season are Dani Alves, Javier Mascherano and Douglas Pereira. Gerard Gumbau and Sergi Samper, B-teamers who have played under Enrique, are also yet to score.
