La Liga News: 25 October 2015: Real Madrid Move Three Points Clear With Win Over Celta Vigo

Real Madrid pulled three points clear of second-placed Celta Vigo after holding off the valiant 10-man Galicians to secure a nervy victory in Saturday’s top-of-the-table clash in La Liga. Cristiano Ronaldo and the Brazilian full-back Danilo struck early to put Real in control at Celta’s Balaídos stadium and Real’s goalkeeper, the Costa Rica international Keylor Navas, ensured they went into the break 2-0 ahead with a string of outstanding saves.
Keylor Navas doesn't dive, he flies. He did so to parry Fabián Orellana's piledriver, deny Iago Aspas from close range and repel 'Tucu' Hernández's missile. He kept Real Madrid buoyant when Celta were enjoying their most sustained spell of pressure, in the lead-up to half-time.
Granada and Real Betis take a share of the points as the two sides drew 1-1 at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes. Granada went ahead after three minutes when former German international Heiko Westermann gifted the ball to Dimitri Foulquier and the French full-back made no mistake from twelve yards out. However, Betis pulled level late in the first half after Perez handballed the ball in the box and Ruben Castro slotted away the penalty as he sent goalkeeper Andreas the wrong way.
