Made four saves on the night, but was beaten by a long range effort after he was left out of position after making the initial save. Bravo was actually beaten once more, late in the first half, as he was left sprawling on the ground after a lovely Keko dribble, but was bailed out by a goal-line clearance. |

It was nice to see some sort of evolution from Dani. He had a solid game defensively, which is the only thing that matters after his streak of unbelievably horrible performances on that end. Had a quite match on offense, but wasn't reponsible for the goal allowed and did his job. Not the greatest game we've seen from Alves, but it's tough to expect that from him lately, so it's acceptable.

A rating severely hurt by his needless red card towards the end of the match. Before his dismissal, Mascherano was playing very deep, effectively as a third center back, which allowed the other two midfielders to focus on their attacking play. He make six tackles and an interception to protect a vulnerable back four. His red card was silly though, seemingly for a comment about the linesmen and it could’ve made Barcelona’s task a lot harder were it not for Luis Suárez. |

Another quiet game from the Croatian. Being the only recognized attacking midfielder on the pitch, you would’ve expected the attacking play to come through him but it was actually Busquets who performed this role. Rakitić struggled to have any real influence on the game and his wayward passing could be an explanation for that. He managed a success rate of 78%, to put that into context Barcelona midfielders regularly get in and around the 90% mark, and he couldn’t create any real goal-scoring chances. |

Barcelona’s best midfield player and one of their best on the field. With Mascherano playing behind him, Busquets was allowed to push forward and play a more Xavi-like role. He was consistently picking up the ball and looking to play the pas that would create a chance. It was his through ball that found Sandro who in turn found Suárez for the equaliser and this was theme he continued with the whole night. He also put in a solid defensive performance with the three tackles and two interceptions. |

Didn't score like Suárez, but was just as impressive. The Brazilian was once again the boss, taking the role as a right-footed Messi and controlling the game from the outside in. Had two assists, including a great individual play to ignite the third goal. If Sunday taught us anything about Neymar, is that he doesn't need his scoring boots to affect the match heavily. |

Collectively, it was a better game than what we saw against Rayo last week. The midfield was a lot more present and controlled the game well. The individual brilliance of the two best players on the team was still the key component to get a win, but the overall effort was consistent and pleasing. First real good performance sans Messi. |

There's not really a whole lot Lucho can change during this time as the injuries are often dictating which eleven he sends on the pitch, but the fact that Barcelona continue to give up soft goals has to concern him. With the overly aggressive play Eibar exhibited over the last minute of the game Enrique really should've made a third substitution to protect one of his star players, especially after Suarez's third goal - regardless of the limited options on the bench. |

It rarely happens that the player that scores the hat-trick doesn't win the Man of the Match award - and it was no different in this one as Suarez ran out a deserved winner. The only one with a possible shout at the award was Barcelona's main creator, Neymar, but he finished a distant second with 17%. Joining the two forwards on the podium was Busquets with 5% of the votes. |
