LFP President Javier Tebas has played down reports that a linesman was pressured into favouring Real Madrid over Barcelona in next month’s Clasico. The Spanish Press on Thursday reported the claim that a member of the Referees Technical Committee had tried to influence the decision-making in November’s Clasico against Barcelona - to which the League chief says there is "little" credence.

Real Madrid has received some encouraging news ahead of this weekend's La Liga encounter with Celta Vigo as Karim Benzema has resumed squad training. The France striker suffered a thigh injury while away on international duty earlier this month and has since been out of action.
