While Bayern Munich fans were happy with the news regarding the return of versatile midfielder Sebastian Rode, they'll still have to see their team battle Barcelona on Tuesday without their two best players.
Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry, the two biggest stars of the Bavarian club, have been ruled out of the second leg against the Blaugrana because of injuries. Robben is out of the season because of a muscle tear on his left calf suffered two weeks ago against Borussia Dortmund. Ribéry, on the other hand, has been battling an ankle injury for a while, and even though his returned was considered for tomorrow's matchup, his rehab did not go well and he is also out of the big game.

As we saw last Wednesday, two things are certain: 1 - Bayern misses all those players, but the absences of Robben and Ribéry are just awful; 2 - They're still a damn great team even without such big stars and pieces of the squad.
If this tie was something like 2-1 or 3-1 for Barça, Bayern could be able to overcome the deficit even with the injuries. But as the team needs to score at least three goals, not having your two best players out there really, really hurts.
