Ivan Rakitic, one of the most important signings of the 2014/15 season, was one of the Barcelona players who talked after the 3-2 loss against Bayern Munich, that qualified the Blaugrana for the UEFA Champions League Final in Berlin.
The Croatian midfielder, who was brought in by request of current manager Luis Enrique, was extremely complimentary of the coach in his comments, saying that achieving the biggest game would be "impossible" without Lucho’s guidance.
Rakitic also used the phrase "perfect work" when highlighting his teammates efforts all season, and he hopes to finish his first campaign at Barça with the treble, the desire of every footballer.
Here’s a few highlights from his interview:
"Our coach is really important for us, for sure..
"I think every coach has different ideas, so does our coach, but right now I want to give him thanks from our team because without him this would be impossible.
"It was perfect work from everybody, and I hope we can get this title"
"That is not so important for us. We respect all teams, so Wednesday will again be a big game [between Real Madrid and Juventus], but the most important thing for us is that we will be in the final in Berlin.
"We want to prepare for the game in the best way and it will be great."
