The 23-year-old has been sidelined since sustaining a metatarsal fracture during Los Blancos’ visit of Sevilla on February 4, but both Marca and AS claim he is in perfect condition after pulling through a practice match between first-team regulars and squad members in training.

10 Real Madrid players were given anti-doping testing at the training ground this morning, after a surprise visit from UEFA. Spanish TV show Jugones report that UEFA arrived at Valdebebas unannounced, and sent 10 players for both blood and urine testing.

Carlos Vela made his return from a knee injury before the international break, but Real Sociedad manager David Moyes says the Mexican forward could miss Saturday's La Liga contest against Malaga. "He’s a doubt for the game," Moyes said at a news conference Thursday. "He trained very well on Monday but on Tuesday he felt a bit uncomfortable with his knee. He’s not trained since then but I am hoping he will train on Friday, so right now I would say that he is a doubt for the game."
