A chance to predict the score of tonight's UEFA Champions League clash between FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain
Optimistic. Pessimistic. Realistic. It seems just about every Culé is approaching this match with a different attitude; some, such as myself, are perhaps underplaying the threat that Paris Saint-Germain will pose. Others opt to over-exaggerate their talent, or perhaps understate Barcelona's current form -- and there are some who are in the middle, acknowledging that either a draw or a win would be a positive result with a second-leg left to play at the Camp Nou.
Who is right? There's no clear answer at this stage and of course, knowing that everyone will view tonight's result and performance differently, we will never know. Alas, let's look at the facts:
Barcelona are in the form of their lives, having won 20 of 23 matches this calendar year -- and no matter which metric you use, they are unbeaten in the biggest matches in 2015. PSG are without their best player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, although the Swede has never really been one to make a difference in the latter stages of the UEFA Champions League. Oh, and the hosts are going to replace him with another world-class striker, Edinson Cavani.
They've recovered from a shaky or indifferent start to their domestic campaign to regain the lead in the Ligue Un title race, and they don't often lose, particularly at home. Inconsistency can plague PSG, but it also means that the highs are that much higher to balance our the lower lows.
