Happy Monday, Blaugranes! Welcome to a new week here at BB. I would really like to thank you guys for making this thread what it has become. You guys really understood our goal when we created it and you're talking trash more than ever. Keep doing it. The thread is respectful, there's a lot of comments and it's fun! Please, keep it up! Alright, little busy today, so I would just like to say: CONGRATS, SERENA WILLIAMS! Her sixth US Open title, and her 18th Grand Slam trophy. She's a monster in every good sense of the word, and she deserves all of her success. Congrats also to Caroline Wozniacki, who returned to a great form. Here's hoping she can join the top of the world again. She's incredibly talented.
Oh, also. I'm hugely happy. As you probably sensed, I'm a big basketball fan. And Brazil beat Argentina yesterday at the FIBA World Cup Round of 16 in an amazing performance. We're historical laughing stock for the Argentines, but we beat them with authority. We basically destroyed them, and that was awesome to see. What a performance by Raul Neto!!!! Now, Serbia. If we beat them, we go to the semifinals. Then it's Spain or USA, so we're going to lose. But going to the SFs after beating Argentina is pretty much a trophy for us, so I'm very excited. VAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI BRASIL!!!
