A first defeat in nine games
Barcelona teenager Peque scored a stunner on Sunday for Barca B but it was a tough day for Francisco Javier García Pimienta’s side who were beaten 2-1 by leaders UD Ibiza in the second phase of Segunda B.
The hosts went ahead after just 18 minutes when Rey Manaj put past his own goalkeeper from a corner kick. However, Barca B were quick to respond with an absolute stunner from Peque to make it 1-1 just after the half-hour mark.

Barca B saw plenty of the ball but struggled to create chances after that against a pretty physical Ibiza team.
The winning goal came eight minutes from time when Castel converted from another corner. Captain Alex Collado did have a chance to grab a late equalizer but could only volley over the.
It’s a first defeat in nine games for Barca B and leaves the team third in the standings, level with with Nàstic and Andorra on 37 points. Next up is a visit from Villarreal B at next Sunday.
