A check on the latest gossip
Barcelona keen on Sensi
Today’s rumors start with Sport who reckon that Barcelona really like the look of Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi and would like to sign him.
Apparently, Barcelona, Inter and the player’s agents have already been in touch with each other, although a move to the Camp Nou could be a little complicated.
Sensi is on loan from Sassuolo and Inter have an option to buy for €25 million which they are expected to take up. However, Inter also want Ivan Rakitic so maybe a deal can be done.
Riqui Puig future still undecided
Over as AS the word is that Barcelona are still not quite sure what to do with Riqui Puig but will make up their minds in December.
Eric Abidal and Ramon Planes will talk to the midfielder and figure out if he should stay with Barcelona B for the rest of this campaign or go out on loan.
If he were to go out on loan the plan is to send him to a club in the Segunda Division or head to a team outside of Spain.
Martinez could be included in Rakitic/Vidal deal
Mundo Deportivo have been talking of Barcelona’s interest in Lautaro Martinez. They reckon that he’s high on Barca’s list of striking priorities along with Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane.
The report also speculates that Inter’s interest in Barca midfielders Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal could pave the way for Martinez to make his way to the Camp Nou.
Inter and Barca meeting to discuss four players
Gianluca Di Marzio also brings word of talks between Barcelona and Inter but doesn’t seem too optimistic about a deal being done despite the good relationship between the two sides.
The report suggests Barca want Martinez and Milan Skriniar but neither player will leave the club in the January transfer window.
Barca are happy for Rakitic to leave this winter but Inter are none too keen due to his age, while the chances of Vidal leaving the Camp Nou for San Siro also appear pretty slim.
Barcelona monitoring Gremio’s Matheus Henrique
And finally today we end with a report from Mundo Deportivo who reckon that Barcelona are keeping tabs on Gremio midfielder Matheus Henrique.
Ramon Planes and Andre Curry had been watching a few players in Brazil and will continue to check out Henrique who has been compared to Sergio Busquets.
The 21-year-old is already a full Brazil international, he made his debut when he came on for Arthur in the friendly against Senegal earlier this month.
