But a legal challenge is expected
The Royal Spanish Football Federation’s (RFEF) Competition Committee confirmed on Wednesday that the rescheduled Clasico is now scheduled to take place on December 18 at the Camp Nou.
The fixture, originally scheduled for this weekend at the Camp Nou, has been called off amid Catalan protests, and Barcelona and Real Madrid were asked to provide a new date.

Both clubs came up with December 18 which has now been confirmed, although La Liga are expected to challenge that date.
The league want the fixture played on either December 4 or December 7 but would prefer a weekend fixture for television reasons.
If the game were to be played on the 7th it would mean Barca and Real Madrid having to move fixtures against Real Mallorca and Espanyol.
However, for now at least, it looks like we are set for a Christmas Clasico at the Camp Nou.
