The midfielder was hacked down in stoppage time
Riqui Puig was stretchered off in stoppage time of Barcelona B’s 1-1 draw against Llagostera on Saturday.
The team went behind in the match but equalised through Abel Ruiz’s spot-kick after Riqui Puig won a penalty.

However, Puig did not finish the game after being stretchered off following a heavy challenge.

It’s not clear just yet the nature or severity of the injury but it comes just a week after some harsh treatment was dished out to Puig against Orihuela.
Manager Fran Garcia Pimienta complained after the match about the “brutal challenges” made on his midfielder in an attempt to stop him.
