The club have reportedly set their sights a little lower
Neymar’s possible departure from Paris Saint-Germain continues to make headlines, and the latest report from France reckons the Ligue 1 champions are ready to drop their price.
Le Parisien reports that PSG initially wanted a whopping €300m for the Brazilian but are now willing to accept €130-€150m plus a player.
Their preferred choice is Ousmane Dembele but they accept that is unlikely and Philippe Coutinho is mentioned as a more realistic target.
Certainly a summer departure for Coutinho would not be a surprise. He had a tough season last time out and has said recently he does not know if he will stay at Barcelona.
Barcelona will also need to raise some funds if they are to land Neymar and Antoine Griezmann in this transfer window, while the wage bill could seriously do with a trim.
Coutinho is one of three players who are regularly linked with an exit. Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti are the other two, although both have repeatedly insisted they are happy at the Camp Nou.
