The youngster starred at the Under-21 Euros
Barcelona are reportedly close to signing Romania starlet Ianis Hagi, son of Gheorghe Hagi, from Viitorul Constanța.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is reportedly set to sign from Viitorul Constanța in a deal worth €7-8 million, according to Gazeta Sporturilor.
Hagi has recently been with the Romania Under-21 side at the European Championship in Italy and helped the team reach the semi-finals.
The youngster was one of the team’s most impressive players, along with George Puscas, and scored in the wins over Croatia and England.

Romania and Hagi played some great stuff at the tournament in Italy but saw their hopes ended in a 4-2 thriller against Germany in the last four.
Hagi certainly looks a real talent and a fee of €7-8m means Barcelona may be thinking he’s a gamble worth taking.
The report reckons that Barcelona could sign the youngster and then loan him initially to gain first-team football elsewhere.
