Neymar won’t come, Ousmane Dembélé not going anywhere - report

The player could be moving away this summer

With rumors that either Neymar or Antoine Griezmann will join Barcelona - possibly both - it’s natural to think that there’s a very strong chance that some forwards could be on the way out. Philippe Coutinho is already said to be on the shop window, although another possible exit is that of Ousmane Dembélé’s.

The French forward’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, has met with Barcelona club president Josep Maria Bartomeu and technical secretary Éric Abidal to discuss the player’s future, according to Mundo Deportivo.

During the meeting, the club told Dembélé’s agent not to worry about his client’s future, since the chances of Neymar arriving are nearly “impossible,” according to Cadena SER.

According to the radio station, the agent was relieved because Dembélé himself does not want to be a part of a swap deal that sees him ending up at Paris Saint-Germain.

This news throws a bucket of cold water on the summer’s hottest rumor, that Neymar was due for a homecoming, but it is surely not the end for that saga.
