Agusti Benedito has launched a vote of no confidence against the current Barcelona board after officially requesting the ballot papers from the club on Friday.
Once Barcelona have the papers, the motion can then get underway with Benedito allowed 14 working days in which to collect signatures of 15 per cent of club members.

Benedito will now hope to collect the signatures he needs and will look to collect them at the forthcoming against Espanyol, Eibar and Juventus in the Champions League.
Benedito also took the opportunity to criticise club president Bartomeu and called on him to resign
"This board has done a staggeringly bad job," he said,
"Bartomeu should resign, he is out of control. We are facing a really important institutional crisis and must act."

Club members will now have their say but Benedito will need the motion to be supported by around 16,000 voters.
At that point, and for a new election to be called, two-thirds of members would need to go against the current board at the actual vote of no confidence.
