Shock avoided...for now.
Barcelona shockingly trailed newly-promoted side Alaves at halftime at home. However, Jeremy Mathieu only needed a minute into the second half to bring the score back level and some normalcy to the proceedings.
Barca decided to rest some of their key players in this one and so far it hasn’t gone according to plan. This equalizer has gotten them back on track. Let’s see if they can find a go-ahead goal from somewhere.
