By the time they kick-off at the Camp Nou tonight, FC Barcelona are likely to be in need of a win to remain at the top of the table; Real Madrid square off with newly-promoted Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu in the mid-afternoon kick-off and are clear and overwhelming favourites to pick up the three points. Early pace-setters, Las Palmas are also in action in the early evening match, albeit away at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but if they secure an unlikely victory, they too could start the match three points clear of the Blaugrana.
Of course, Luis Enrique's side are also clear favourites to pick up a win tonight at the Camp Nou, and that remains the case even with a host of players missing through injury. Marc-Andre ter Stegen has picked up a late knock and therefore we will see Jasper Cillessen make his Barcelona debut, while Sergio Roberto and Gerard Pique has been left out for tactical reasons.
Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Andre Gomes and Jeremy Mathieu have all been included in the squad however, despite initially being doubtful for a variety of reasons. Whether they will all feature remains to be seen, but it provides Enrique with perhaps more options than he thought he had available -- and generally, that spells bad news for Mauricio Pellegrino and his Alaves side.
