AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is not a liked man around Barcelona. Fans will not forget his terrible challenge that caused a serious knee injury to midfielder Rafinha Alcântara.
The Blaugrana club announced that the Brazilian will miss up to seven months with a torn ACL in his right knee, which is horrible since Rafinha has been one of the best performers of Barça's young season. Nainggolan wasn't happy with the news, and he took to Twitter to offer his apology:
Hola @rafinha, lo siento mucho por la mala noticia, no fue mi intención hacerte daño. Espero verte pronto en el campo, un fuerte abrazo!
— Radja Nainggolan (@OfficialRadja) September 17, 2015
"Hello, Rafinha, I'm really sorry for the bad news, it was not my intention to do you harm. I hope to see you on the pitch in no time. A big hug!"
It's a classy move by Nainggolan to apologize for his actions, but it's kind of a tough pill to swallow since he's already done a bad thing and there's no turning back from it.
But hey, thanks for the tweet!
