OFFICIAL: Andrés Iniesta Injury Report

Turns out Andrés Iniesta didn't suffer the worst injury of all time.

The Barcelona captain, who was forced out of Tuesday's Champions League game against Bayer Leverkusen after sustaining a leg injury, was diagnosed with a right hamstring injury, the club announced shortly after the end of the match.

While the club doesn't go into a lot more details -- other than saying he'll be watched and carefully treated for the next couple of days to see when he can return to training --, sources told Barça Blaugranes that this is not a hamstring tear, but a sprain, which is good news and it means a three-week absence, at worst.

Because there is an international break coming last week, Iniesta will likely miss just one game, next weekend's crucial La Liga clash against Sevilla on Saturday. He'll be surely missed then, but will return quickly.

By the time Iniesta comes back, Claudio Bravo, Thomas Vermaelen and Adriano Correia will also be fully recovered and available, thus leaving Lionel Messi and Rafinha Alcântara as the long time absentees, IF no other injury occurs in Seville.
