The midfielder heads back to his former club
Barcelona confirmed on Tuesday that Ivan Rakitic has left the club and returned to Sevilla for a fee of €1.5 million with €9m in variables.

The Croatia international passed a medical with Julen Lopetegui’s side on Monday and has now signed a deal that runs until 2022.
He follows Arthur Melo in leaving the club ahead of the new season and there could be a few more out of the door in the coming weeks.
Arturo Vidal and Luis Suarez are both believed to be in talks to end their contracts. The duo are also currently being linked with moves to Serie A.
