The defender has left the Camp Nou
Barcelona announced on Tuesday they have sold 20-year-old defender Jorge Cuenca to Villarreal.
Cuenca has been on the fringes of the first team without managing to make the breakthrough and will now seek a fresh challenge with the Yellow Submarine.

Villarreal will pay €2.5 million plus €4m in variables. The deal also includes a buyback clause and Barca will earn 20 percent of any future sale.
Cuenca has been at the Camp Nou since 2017, making 65 appearances for Barcelona B. He made his debut for the first team in a 1-0 Copa del Rey win over Cultural Leonesa.
