The full-back is reportedly heading to the Premier League
Nelson Semedo is reportedly close to leaving Barcelona and heading to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Portugal international is “one step away” from joining Nuno Espirito Santo’s team after Wolves made a new offer on Saturday.
There’s no detail on how much has been offered but there’s speculation Barcelona would accept bid of around €40 million for Semedo.
Wolves are ‘one step away’ from signing Nelson Semedo. New bid submitted yesterday and Barcelona are now ready to accept. Work in progress also on personal terms to be agreed.

On next hours Barça are gonna sell Semedo to #Wolves and Vidal to #Inter. Here we go soon! #FCB
Barcelona will then need to bring in a replacement for Semedo at right-back. Norwich’s Max Aarons and Ajax defender Sergino Dest have both been mentioned as targets in recent days.
After a pretty quiet summer on the transfer front so far it seems Barca could be set for a flurry of activity before their La Liga opener on Sunday against Villarreal. Vidal and Semedo could both go which could also allow Barca to dip into the transfer market.
