The club are preparing for the Champions League
Barcelona B youngsters including Monchu, Konrad de la Funte and Jorge Cuenca all joined the first-team squad for training on Wednesday morning as the club continue their preparations for the clash with Napoli in the Champions League.

Quique Setien is short of options for the tie at the Camp Nou on August 8 with Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal suspended, while Ronald Araujo, Samuel Umtiti, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele are all currently injured and Arthur AWOL.
There is hope that Griezmann and Lenglet will be fit for the tie, and possibly even Dembele, but Setien could still need some of Barca B’s youngsters for back-up.
B team captain Monchu and Konrad both caught the eye in the promotion playoffs despite the team’s disappointing defeat to Sabadell in the final. Both scored in the dramatic 3-2 win over Valladolid Promesas, while Monchu was also on target in the final.
