The GOAT is La Liga top scorer yet again
Lionel Messi has once again finished as La Liga’s top goalscorer to pick up the Pichichi Trophy for a record seventh time.
The Barcelona captain finished top of the pile on 25 goals even after a campaign where he gave everyone a head start by missing the beginning of the season through injury.
Messi’s two goals against Alaves took him to the 25-mark for the 11th season in a row and he also finished up with a record 21 assists as well.

The 33-year-old is now out on his own when it comes to the Pichichi. No other player has won it more times than the Argentine as he continues to make La Liga history with Barcelona.
