The club’s chiefs have been talking transfers
Following the close of the transfer window on Friday, Barcelona have held a press conference with Albert Soler and Robert Fernandez, who have discussed the club’s transfer activities.
On the agenda were Lionel Messi’s new contract, Neymar’s departure and their interest in Angel Di Maria, Jean Michael Seri and many other things.

Soler on Messi’s new contract
"When the club announce an agreement, that means there's an agreement between both parties. All that remains is to formalise it.
“There's no problem. I want to reassure the members that there's no problem.
When he will sign? "Soon. When we say soon, we mean soon."
On Di Maria, Seri, Verratti & Inigo Martinez
Soler: "PSG wanted €70m for Di Maria. We didn't want to pay that much."
Fernandez: "Yes we did show interest in Iñigo Martinez and Seri but in the end we thought it'd be best to not sign them.
“It's not true that we didn't go for Verratti. I personally spoke with Unai Emery & he knows that he's a player we wanted.”
Soler on Neymar
“The rumours started at the end of July. Both the President & I didn't know he'd leave prior to that.
"I have a message that tells me PSG wanted Neymar on July 19. Luckily, WhatsApps have dates. Not in January or March, in July.
"The fact that Neymar paid his buyout clause and we had €222m meant everyone knew we had that money. We have tried to manage it with the sporting needs we had, that's always the priority, but there are lines we can't cross.
"If Robert and I came out here and told you we'd signed two players for €270m, we would have crossed the line of responsibility and then we would have had to resign."
So there we have it, fairly interesting of the board to hold a press conference and invite questions after such a crazy transfer market but are you satisfied with their answers?
