Coach Luis Enrique has selected 18 players to form the squad for the match against Córdoba, featuring the return of Neymar Jr.
The next Barcelona match is upon us! For the last time in 2014, Barça will enter the pitch for a competitive contest. On Saturday afternoon, the Blaugrana welcome Córdoba to Camp Nou, eager to finish the year strong with a good performance, and more importantly, a good win. And coach Luis Enrique has already decided which players will be in uniform for the final contest of the year.
Neymar Jr. was given the medical green light on Friday, and Enrique said on his press conference that the Brazilian was available and could possibly be on the squad list. And the coach kept his promise. Ney is back, after missing the last two matches due to an ankle injury. Dani Alves, on the other hand, has not recovered from his hamstring issue and is officially out for today's game.
The other absentees, per Enrique's decision, are Jordi Masip, Douglas Pereira, Marc Bartra and Sergi Roberto. Thomas Vermaelen is a constant part of the absentees, as he's out for the season.
