Barcelona will play their last game of 2014
Barcelona will enter the Camp Nou for the last time in 2014, and their task ahead is not that hard. The Blaugrana will welcome Córdoba to their stadium, eager to win and finish the year as close to Real Madrid as possible in the standings.
Barça are all rested and ready to go after coach Luis Enrique decided to rest most of his starters in the midweek's Copa Del Rey clash with Huesca. Players with huge minutes played like Lionel Messi, Jérémy Mathieu, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Jordi Alba and others got time off, which will surely help them a lot against Córdoba. Neymar is cleared to return to action, and he will likely play.
Barça's opponent, on the other hand, are going through a tough time. They were miraculously promoted to Spain's big league for the first time in more than 40 years, but they're already facing relegation. That doesn't mean they can't give Barça a tough time at the Camp Nou; Córdoba traveled to Santiago Bernabéu and gave Real Madrid all sorts of trouble.
The Blaugrana will try to extend their unbeaten run to eleven straight games, and only one of the previous ten has ended in a draw. So, possibly, Barça will win this one.
