The game had finished 2-2 with France coming back from two goals down. A Paris Brunner penalty and a goal from Darvich had put Germany in control.
Yet the game changed in the second half with France pulling one back, Germany having Winners Osawe sent off, and Les Bleus then levelling.
Germany then went on to win 4-3 in the shootout which allowed Darvich to lift the trophy with his team.
Darvich was taken off in the second half after Osawe had been sent off and spoke briefly about the game afterwards.
“It was a pure fight,” he said. “A sending off in a game like that is bitter and I was sacrificed and had to come off but as a team we did it perfectly.”
Congratulations, Noah Darvich!
