There are some different ideas about who will play
Monday’s papers are focused on Barcelona’s Champions League clash with Napoli and the 11 players Quique Setien is likely to select for the crunch match.
Yet there seem to be a couple of different ideas about which players will start the match at the Camp Nou against Gennaro Gattuso’s side.
Sport reckon that Setien is considering playing a 3-5-2 which would feature a back three of Nelson Semedo, Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet.
Sergi Roberto and Jordi Alba would both feature further forward with Ivan Rakitic, Riqui Puig and Frenkie de Jong in midfield, leaving Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in attack.
Over at Mundo Deportivo there’s a different line-up altogether. They reckon Setien will play 4-3-3 and Antoine Griezmann will make the starting XI in attack with Messi and Suarez.
MD leave Puig out of their team and go with a midfield of Roberto, Rakitic and De Jong, while Semedo, Pique, Lenglet and Alba make up the four-man defence.
It’s worth remembering that Barca are a little short of options for Saturday’s big game due to injuries and suspension.
Arturo Vidal and Sergio Busquets are suspended, while Arthur is back in Brazil and seemingly not willing to play for the club again. Lenglet and Griezmann haven’t yet been given the green light to play after injury, but it is expected they will be fit in time.
