The striker is back at work
Martin Braithwaite has become the first of Barcelona’s first-team stars to show his face at the club after their Champions League humiliation by Bayern.
The striker was back in training on Wednesday, joining the likes of Francisco Trincao, Pedri, Matheus Fernandes and Rafinha in the session.
Youngsters Moussa Wague, Juan Miranda and Oriol Busquets were also part of the group at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Braithwaite was included in the Barcelona squad for the Bayern match even though he was ineligible for the tie against the Bundesliga champions.
The striker barely featured towards the end of the season, with Luis Suarez back after knee surgery, and it will be interesting to see if he will be part of Ronald Koeman’s plans.
