Antoine Griezmann’s signing is a matter of days, and we are going to see him being officially presented as a Barcelona player on the 11th of this month, according to Mundo Deportivo.
That Barcelona are willing to trigger the Frenchman’s release clause of 120 million euro to pry him from Atlético Madrid is an open secret, with various media reporting yesterday that it was a question of when, not if.
However, now we are hearing a specific date for the presentation, which would also imply that the clause could be activated early next week since it usually takes a few days to pass by after an announcement for an official presentation to take place.
Frenkie de Jong’s presentation will take place on the 5th, and there are rumors that Barça don’t want to take their own thunder away by announcing a big signing before that.
By Sunday the 14th there would be medical tests, so that the next day Griezmann would be taking part in his first training as a Barcelona player, per the report.
