Two great teams, two great coaches, two great games to watch. This will be fun.
The Copa del Rey is not the most exciting competition in the world, but when you reach the semi-finals and you have the two best teams in Spain ready to play 180 great minutes of football, then the Spanish Cup is going to be really, really, really fun to watch.
Barcelona and Valencia begin on Thursday night their fight for a place in the Final, and this should be a LOT of fun. Barça are the unbeaten leaders of La Liga who have answered all the critics and doubters with strong tactical plans by Ernesto Valverde and amazing performances by Lionel Messi and his friends.
Valencia are perhaps the most entertaining team in the country, but they’re not the most consistent and that’s why they haven’t been able to stay in the title race with Barça. But their inconsistency also makes them completely unpredictable, and that’s why it’s so fun to see them play.
The first game is at Camp Nou, and Barça cannot afford to concede an away goal and must get a really good result. Valencia will have very little to lose and have the firepower to get a draw or an away win anywhere, and they’ll make things really tough.
This will be crazy fun for neutrals, this will be crazy nervous for fans of both clubs, and this is one you simply cannot miss.
