Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has once again been asked about moving to Barcelona in the wake of his side’s 3-1 Champions League defeat at Real Madrid.
The midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou early last summer, which all got a bit messy really.
Verratti’s agent Donato Di Campli claimed the Italian was a “prisoner”and then shortly afterwards very publicly apologised for his comments and that was that.
Or so we thought, because for some reason he was asked about Barcelona yet again, even though the club’s pursuit of the midfielder seemingly ended some months ago.
“Barcelona? I don’t know, I am happy here in Paris,” he said.
”I believe in this project and I hope to stay here long. Maybe PSG will sell me but let’s see.”

PSG’s result in Madrid means the club now look set for more disappointment in the Champions League, despite signing Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer.
At 3-1 the tie is not completely over, with the return leg in Paris, but the odds are certainly against Unai Emery’s side going through.
